1. I enjoy spending time with my family. Talon is a riot, I just love his sweet innocent nature. I sure wish I had his energy.
2. I always mean to send a note or call to keep in touch but never seem to get around to it.
3. I’m glad that computers are a hobby again, although my skills come in very handy when it comes to running our business.
4. I’m not a people person, although there are rare people that seem to enjoy talking with me.
5. Every time I think of Dad I get misty eyed and sad, even though it has been years since he passed away. Because of this I don’t tend to talk about him.
6. Dragons rock! 🙂 I like most things with dragons, wizards, monsters etc.
7. I like owning my own business, although dealing with employees and customers can be a real pain at times. (See #4) It consumes a lot more time than I thought it would and has been an interesting challenge (sometimes good, sometimes bad)Â I do miss all my vacation time I had while employed with Micron.
8. I’m a homebody and tend to spend my time and money on indoor activities; although I do enjoy camping and fishing, I start to have tech “fits” after a few days.
9. I LOVE strategic board games, probably even more than computer games because I can sit and interact with friends and family. Strange considering #4. This is a big part of why I wanted to opened a HobbyTown. We have started doing monthly game nights with employees and customers.
10. I need certain things just so. I tend to correct employees when I don’t think they have given the customer information in the correct way. Not that the information isn’t basically correct.
11. I’m very fiscally responsible. My motto has always been to pay bills in the following order: Family, Needs (House, power, etc) then Wants (Computer games and toys). It bothers me when others don’t follow the same order. I tend to not lend money because of this.
12. I tend to think that I’m not much good at anything.
13. Most small children gravitate to me, but I tend to scare the adults.
14. I hope to open another HobbyTown within 5 years and hopefully will be able to take more of a strictly managerial role at that time. Maybe located in Pocatello or somewhere in Utah.
15. I almost drowned rafting down the Payette river after having been launched out of the boat by a couple of other guys jumping on the opposite end of the boat.
16. I always seem to purchase high dollar video 3d cards for my computer even though the games give me motion sickness and then I go back to playing Heroes of Might and Magic III.
17. I’m always dubious of any ‘quick’ fixes… Get rich quick, get thin quick, etc. I’m usually the skeptic of the group.
18. I like to work with my hands and like to think that I’m mechanically inclined. Maybe I’ll have to talk to the people who bought the house in Boise to find out if it is true.
19. I don’t like sports. Paintball is fun, but it is expensive and I’m to out of shape to play. So I just need to make some large, out of shape friends to play with me.
20. I’ve more than doubled my body weight since I left high school. No one from my graduating class would recognize me if they came into the store.
21. Overall, I’m pretty easy going and don’t let much ruffle my feathers, but watch out if you do…
22. I like my cars to be comfortable, but don’t care to much about appearance. As long as it gets me from point A to point B reliably I’m happy.
23. I HATE HATE HATE HATE people on cell phones while they are driving and swerving all over the road. I also saw a lady reading a book while driving down the road at 70mph. This drives me batty! For the most part I’m not a big fan of cell phones and think of them as more of a leash than anything else.
24. I tend to cover my feelings with poor humor and take criticism directed at me to the worst extreme.
25. I always find it interesting that people that think the government should take care of the poor give the least amount of money to charity.
