I had a few old letters that were in my game room and as I was sitting here decided to read them. Mostly they were fairly generic birthday cards and a few letters from friends. I did find one letter that my Mom typed to me while I was in the Air Force. One part made me really laugh, it was about Greg typing in a program and he came into the room to tell my Mom that he was up to line 1000 (in 10 line increments). She came out to take a look and as he was listing the program she noticed a light that didn’t need to be on and flipped the switch. The light and computer were plugged into that outlet which proceeded to erase all of Greg’s work! Oh those where the days. I remember the hours spent typing all those text based games into the computer and saving them on a cassette tape. (Which Greg hadn’t done) I had to text Greg and tell him about the story so he could relive his childhood trama! (Tells you what kind of brother I am) 🙂
Talon purchased the TV series “Boy meets World” and I put them on my sever. One of the girl character’s name is Tapanga. I told Talon that her name sounds like the sound a spring would make if it broke. If Stacia or Talon are watching it and her name in said I feel required to yell “TaPanga!!!” just to irrate them. (Again, telling you what kind of guy I am) Good Times!
