Today our son,Talon, purchased his first vehicle. It is a 2006 Ford Ranger XLT. Overall it seems like a nice starter truck. With the exception of the bargining over price Talon took charge on the purchase. He found the truck, found a check list on what to look at and then went through the truck with a fine tooth comb and we took it on a couple test drives.
His grandma left him $1,000 for his inheritance. With his savings, the inheritance and a little money that we committed to help, he was able to purchase the truck with no loan and owns it free and clear. He has been so excited and his first stop was to head to the store and show his Mother and all the workers at the store. He is already hard at work trying to fix minor problems.
