Tuesday was the first day that I’ve spent on the sales floor at BassPro Shop/Cabelas at the gun counter. I spent quite a bit of the shift telling people that I didn’t know because it was my first day on the sales floor, but I would try to get someone to help. After a day of standing, it was obvious that I probably needed to get some new shoes. I had three times last night where my legs were cramping up and I assume it was because of all the standing. Went and got the new shoes and we’ll see how my legs and back do on Friday, which is a couple more hours than the shift on Tuesday.
The rotorooterin’ is getting better every day. I sounds like it might be a month before it has completely healed, but the urine is almost back to yellow with just a tint of red and no clots.
I signed up for the Cabelas “club card” on Tuesday and have been using it for all my purchases. It is basically just a points based Mastercard. My plan is to use it and then just pay it off once a week or so. Will hopefully get me some “free” camping gear or smoker.
We will have visitors show up on Friday. Stacia’s sister RaShawn was coming to visit but moved the plans up a bit so she could attend her Uncle John Foggs funeral. I guess his health has been pretty poor for quite some time and he finally passed away. Stacia’s sister Delanee (aka Wheels) will be showing up sometime Friday afternoon. Roscoe and Jeanine may stay the night also, so we will have LOTs of visitors. So I work from 9AM-5PM on Friday, come home for a game night with my friends Alan, Dave and Phil and will also have visitors for the funeral. Gonna a be a LONG, LONG Day! 🙂
