Game Nights

Before we sold HobbyTown, I was doing a weekly game night with some  childhood friends, Alan Braithwaite, Dave Clemons and an employee from the store Phil Harrison. When we sold the store, I was able to convice them to move to our house.  It has been a lot of fun and something that I look forward to every week. It is actually one of the big reasons why we haven’t moved to Eastern Idaho.  It has been really nice to rekindle the old friendships and I have been told by both Alan and Dave that it is a good release for them from some family difficulties also. Usually I will supply an evening meal and they will chip in money or food.

Last night, we played some new games Bohnanza and Love Letter (New to them, not to me) and we had a lot of fun.  After Phil left for the night, I had Talon come in and play a 4th player on Love Letter.  I made it “manditory” for him, but it was nice having him participate!

I also find it interesting that Talon has started doing a game night with his friends.  I’m so proud of him in so many ways and love him a TON!
