Waiting for Roscoe

While Roscoe was chopping wood at 88 years young, he felt a problem with his heart and thought he was in Afib. Turns out he had a leaky valve and with the extra exertion he tore his heart valve. After a couple of times to the emergency room, they got him scheduled for a valve repair. Typically that would involve open heart surgery, but due to hs age they did the chip clip his valve. Today is the day for Roscoe’s heart procedure. For his age he is in very good shape since he is very active. So while the chopping wood was what tore the valve the physical activity made it so he could get through the procedure successfully. We are waiting in the family waiting room.
