{"id":159,"date":"2025-02-10T01:54:53","date_gmt":"2025-02-10T01:54:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.quikbytes.com\/apps\/journal\/?p=159"},"modified":"2025-02-10T01:54:56","modified_gmt":"2025-02-10T01:54:56","slug":"a-long-time-coming","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.quikbytes.com\/apps\/journal\/index.php\/2025\/02\/10\/a-long-time-coming\/","title":{"rendered":"A Long Time Coming"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I&#8217;ve given myself the goal of posting more often.&nbsp; I know that it has been quite some time since I last posted, so here we go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t want to be very graphic, but I have been having spurts of blood in my urine.\u00a0 One time it was bad enough that it clotted up internally and had to go to the E.R. because I couldn&#8217;t pee.\u00a0 I went to the Urologist and they did a &#8220;fun&#8221; procedure where they jam a camera up the ding-a-ling to check the bladder for cancer.\u00a0 Luckily no cancer, but on the downside it turns out that my prostate has been growing up into my bladder making it much harder to void the bladder, plus that appears to be the source of the blood. So, next month I get to go get what the Urologist calls a &#8220;Roto-Rooter&#8221; of my prostate.\u00a0 This will make it much easier to void the bladder and it should be easier to sleep through the night, instead of getting up 10 times a night to pee.
